LOULOU d'AKI is a lens based visual artist and author born and raised on the Swedish seaside. She studied Art and Music in Sweden, Photography in Italy.
d'Aki has lived and worked across Europe, in the Middle and far East, South Asia, Japan, Canada, the United States and Mexico. She divides her time between assigned work, lectures and personal long-term projects which turn into exhibitions and books. She is the author of They call us dreamers but we're the ones who don't sleep - a project about the dreams and aspirations of youngsters coming of age in the aftermath of the Arab Spring revolution.
d'Aki currently lives in the Swedish countryside.
